When injury or prolonged physical activity occurs, there is usually some associated loss of ability to move normally.
Loss of motion may be due to a number of factors, including pain, swelling, muscle spasm, shortening of connective tissue as a result of over-activity or overuse; or some combination of these factors.
At Premier Wellness & Recovery, restoring normal range of motion following injury is the primary goal of the stretching and flexibility package. Therapists will use a wide range of techniques and equipment that include passive range of motion, active and active-assist range of motion performed in combination to begin to restore full function.

- Initial comprehensive assessment of joint ROM and muscle tone
- Educate each client to real expectations and benefits (provided client accepts and purchases treatment plan)
- Provide treatment using a variety of manual techniques to produce results
- Client will feel fully relaxed and destressed
